I was born in 1981, Albacete capital, although I lived all my childhood in a small town in the province of Albacete called Casas de Lázaro. The constant contact with the natural environment and rural life definitely marked my way of living and feeling nature as a part of me. Those years were key to my development, with the constant and almost necessary feeling of creating objects with natural elements such as clay and drawings in pencil and color in which I expressed with primitivism and simplicity.
This led me to direct my life to the artistic plane, from the institute to the university, for the need to express that almost mystical facet that relates art and nature as a kind of vital symbiosis. Here began my process of learning and maturing between personal and artistic, where I have been exploring my weaknesses and strengths, and transmuting them, in order to convey my experiences and deeper feelings in different artistic disciplines, which I develop with passion: like the drawing, the illustration, the painting and the design. In my painting we can find natural elements, sometimes used as spiritual symbols, with which I try to transmit the flow of space-time, and our intrinsic connection with the natural environment and our most archaic roots. The end of my work brings with it a term in itself human, humanizing, a way of assuming our origins and transmitting the essence of life; an almost poetic reflection, which allows us to answer some questions of current relevance, such as freedom and its limits, our mission in the world and human respect for nature and our environment. |
