I was born in Soria, Spain, in 1934. Since my childhood I had great love of drawing and painting. At seventeen I met the famous watercolorist Federico Lloveras and he printed me a specific vocation: watercolor. Without abandoning other techniques, I endeavored to capture in watercolor prints that gave me the landscape. From the first moment I felt attracted me through the streets of Castilian villages, full of history and art, and also for its monuments, singularly Romanesque.
I have also cultivated oil, acrylic and pastel, especially to cater figure and portrait commissions, but watercolor is my favorite technique. |
