Biography: Graduated in Fine Arts in the branches of sculpture and painting from the University of Granada, he conceives art as the ability to project an idea through interdisciplinary connection. The more plastic resources are involved in the realization of the idea, the greater the possibility of success and approximation to it.
In its beginnings, it participated in multiple exhibitions and obtained various scholarships and awards and collaborated in university and provincial magazines and newspapers; he illustrates and designs posters.
A scholarship to the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Naples contributes to expanding their training in disciplines such as sculpture, photography, engraving and set design, with artists of recognized international prestige such as: Mimmo Iodice, Bruno Starita or Giovanni Girosi.
Back in Spain, he obtained a University Collaboration Scholarship with the Dutch sculptor Ruud Dijkers at the International Exhibition of Faculties and Schools of Art and Design in Granada.
Later, he traveled to Peru with a scholarship from the International Cooperation Agency (Intercampus), to expand his doctoral studies and made a sculpture for the campus of the Pontifical University of Peru. Two years later he made the set design for the play "El cerco de Numancia" and the set design for "Don Juan Frente al Espejo", both by Francisco Ortuño. The latter premiered at the XNUMXth “Don Quixote” Hispanic Theater Festival in Paris and later at the “Madrid Sur” theater festival and in countries in Europe, Africa and the United States.
In Paris, later, he attended art and literature courses at the Sorbonne and held various exhibitions. Since then, she collaborates with the fashion designer Marie Meunier in the production of painted fabrics for Haute Couture, for which she also creates jewels with a marked sculptural character.
For theatre, he expanded the curtains for “Títeres de cachiporra”, designed by Federico García Lorca, Hermenegildo Lanz and Ramón Gaya for “La Barraca”, as well as the curtains for Entremeses by Miguel de Cervantes, premiered by the company FGLorca theater at the Alhambra Theater in Granada.
Later, he made the curtains for the flamenco show: “Calle Sierpes”, directed by Felipe Mato. Premiered at the Salvador Távora Theater (La Cuadra) in Seville.
In 2011, he directed and created the set and costume design for "La casa de Bernarda Alba", by Federico García Lorca: Theatrical play premiered in Jimena de La Frontera, Cádiz.
In recent years, he has directed the comedies for the theater: “Fuera de quicio”, by José Luís Alonso de Santos and “Los Palomo”, by Alfonso Paso.
His creative news is concentrated in series that show a multidisciplinary work developed in the field of painting, sculpture, graphic work, photography and literature. Highlighting the works carried out around: Fernando Pessoa, "The skins of the poet"; Immigration and uprooting, “Marenostrum”; the links between poetry and painting, “Ut pictura poesis”, and sculptural experimentation, “Prometheus”, “Relative space”.
