Audra Rodriguez is a Venezuelan artist and architect, established in Barcelona, Spain. She was born on February 28, 1989, the same day that began the civil war in her country, Venezuela.
Since she was a child she was curious about art and completed her studies as an Architect in 2012 at the Central University of Venezuela. In 2014 she was living in Panama working with an architect with large projects but his goal was always to expand in Europe.
Winning a scholarship at the University of Santander, she moved to Spain and obtained her Master's degree in Construction Management and Rehabilitation.
She started painting since 2013, and the social pressure that demanded to leave her country to live a new life, made the Jungle Bosses collection born in 2015, embracing the artistic world and dedicating herself to urban art.
Audra uses acrylic paintings on canvas or blank canvases, and her last two collections, is a synthesis of social ladders, where the world is seen as if it were a jungle, where there is always a boss or king. It expresses the animal part that we all carry inside and that we must fight on a day-to-day basis with sacrifice in order to survive society.
