Sculptor and painter from Antioquia. Graduated in Education in Plastic Arts from the University of Antioquia, he has a specialization in direct carving in Carrara marble from Carlos Nicoli's Art Laboratory, Italy and studies in painting and anatomy at the League of Plastic Arts in New York (United States)., Studies of artistic design in Milan- Italy and Bellas Artes de Medellín- Member of the ISSA － International Sculpture Symposium Alliance.
Throughout his career, Londoño has been the recipient of recognized awards. professional sculptor specializing in direct carving in marble, basalt granite, specialist in human figure and academic teaching, through the Socrates Cultural Center Institution, founded by the Sculptor himself, where he has developed his pedagogical and artistic projects, for more than 20 Years, he has to his credit numerous representations of the Country in international events such as Symposiums, competitions, and international exhibitions, he has also received different national and international awards, such as the Pedro Nel Gómez Medal, First, second, and third prizes in Argentina in the sculpture contest, he has made multiple study trips to other countries to manage the importation of knowledge, materials and relationships corresponding to sculptural techniques, proving to be an Ideal, responsible person, and an example of work and leadership. |
