Artist Works | Biography: | Matías Monge was born in 1990 in the small town of Villa Nueva, Prov. Of Córdoba, Argentina. Through an honest and simple speech, he manages to collect, through his lens, pieces of reality that he observes. From a social perspective that touches the documentary, varnished by empathy with “the other photographed”, it creates a collective construction link devoid of artifice. Its beginnings in photography refer to the need to incorporate a philosophy of conscious life and translate it into joint reflection processes with the protagonists of their scenes. Its lens, as a conduit for dialogue and openness towards co-participatory expression in the observation "of the other - the other". His academic training in Advertising and Tourism articulates as support of his compositions, marking in his walk a journey soaked with intuition and the intact curiosity of his childhood. |
