Artist Works
Biography: Miguel Angel Vecchione was born in Venezuela. While studying at the School of Painting of Professor Nélida Vergara, at the age of 10 he painted his first oil painting "Flowers on the table". Two years later he began to study oil painting at the School of Arts of Professor Yrlanda Trompiz and during a period of 3 years he learned the techniques of Trompiz developing skills primarily in landscape painting. In 1982 he participated in his first exhibition at La Casa de La Cultura de Los Teques (Venezuela), obtaining the first prize with his work "La Casita del arbol". The following year he repeated the first prize, this time with the work "Otra calle de Píritu".

His fondness for nature with urban touches led him to paint about 50 works only until 1988, the date on which there is an "artistic stop" of 30 years marked since its inception in 1989 with the entrance to the School at the School. of Studies of the Venezuelan Merchant Marine. Once he graduated in 1993, he began to sail the Seas of the World for several years and later became a successful hospitality entrepreneur until in 2016 he decided to leave business to settle his life in a small town in Andalusia (Spain). In 2018 his artistic impetus reappeared with a crayon drawing of "The Church of Santa María de Nieva", since then he has painted several paintings with different techniques but always oil and acrylic on canvas predominate. By 2021 he also shows his Maritime influence in many of his works.

It could be said that his work also marks a chronology of the changes in his life as well as a kind of auto-biography written with oils, acrylics and brushes.
