La artista Carmen Pérez-Carpel nace en Mérida (Badajoz). He cursado estudios de pintura en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Cáceres. También estudios de Técnico Superior en Artes Plásticas y Mosaico en la Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño de Mérida. Es Diplomada en Magisterio y Especialista en Educación de Adultos por la Universidad de Extremadura.
In the series that I present titled: "Ammonites, the passage of time", I offer you a very rich plastic discourse, and I show you fossils immersed in textures and shapes that I have created to reflect my internal emotions. I have held numerous individual and group exhibitions, my work has been recognized in the XXVII Cultural Society Award in Almendralejo 2005, La Galería Setdart (Acquisition) Barcelona.
