Ada Pérez García, Avilés, 1963. Plastic artist. Graduate in Fª and CC. of Education by the University of Oviedo, in 1987. Specialist in Clinical Psychology, by the Secretary of State for Universities and Research, Ministry of Education and Science, in 2007. With training in Textile Crafts (high heddle loom), Experimental Painting, Formal Analysis of Painting, Computer Aided Creative Design, Lithography and Engraving. Among other activities, I attended the Conference on Contemporary Creation Spaces in Avilés from 2007 to 2011, and the European Congress of Aesthetics Societies in crisis. Europe and the concept of Aesthetics, at the Museo Nacional del Prado, Madrid, 2010. I participated in the Open Codes project, at the Laboral Centro de Arte y Promoción Industrial, in Gijón in 2012. In 2018 I took the Miríadax online course at Museo Nacional del Prado, Velázquez in the Prado museum, and I collaborated in the number 93 of Ábaco, Magazine of Culture and Social Sciences. In 2019, in Oviedo, Training in Creativity and Innovation, a European Social Fund Program. And in 2020, Open Sessions: Women in Contemporary Art, from the Pablo de Olavide University, Seville. I am currently developing the project Cartographies of human life in the studio. With experience as coordinator of Cacho Sierra artistic productions since 1992, I participated in various exhibitions both collective and individual.
